Yuchen graduated with the LL.B. degree from Beijing, China in 2009, she then obtained her Masters Degree in International Business Law from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2010. After working at a busy litigation law firm in Toronto for four years, she went to the University of Ottawa to pursue her J.D. degree in Common Law in 2014. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018 and has been working as a litigation lawyer since then.
Yuchen is passionate about advocating for her clients. She has worked on numerous litigation files at various court levels, including the Supreme Court of Canada.
Yuchen has worked with individual clients as well as international corporate clients during her practice. She has negotiated the RMB agreements with the Big Five Banks in Canada, as well as assisted the sophisticated Chinese companies to invest and expand in Canada.
Yuchen is caring, empathetic and creative and would like to further her career in Immigration and Refugee law to help more people obtain their status in Canada.
