Ian Mason

Ian received his Bachelor of Arts from Ryerson University in 2010 and his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall in 2018, where he was also the editor-and-chief and a regular columnist for the student newspaper, Obiter Dicta. He completed the Bar exams in June 2018 and was called to the Bar in June 2019.

Ian articled with a family lawyer but developed an interest in immigration and refugee law in law school and was ecstatic to join Lewis and Associates in July 2019. Working in family law, he helped many people (including immigrants and refugees) secure needed support for themselves and their children in the aftermath of often-brutal separations.

In his spare time, Ian plays hockey and softball, and is the bass player for local rock band, Starship Experience. He has volunteered for Lawyers Feed the Hungry and his local NDP candidate in the riding of York-South Weston. He has also dabbled in community theatre.
