Alison Pridham earned a Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia where she was actively involved with the Immigration and Refugee Legal Clinic, volunteered with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and received the Hon. Thomas A. Dohm QC Prize in Immigration Law. After articling at a criminal defence firm, her interests in human rights and access to justice led her to positions at the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and Community Legal Education Ontario. She then spent several years working in the field of workplace discrimination and harassment prevention, before returning to her original passion of immigration and refugee law. She joined Lewis & Associates in 2019 and has quickly gained experience with several stages of the refugee claim process. She also has experience with private refugee sponsorships through her involvement with the Refugee Sponsorship Support Program.
In her spare time, Alison enjoys being outdoors and reading to her children.
