Alia Rosenstock

Alia is the proud granddaughter of refugees. She is happy to assist you in English and French and is proficient in Spanish. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Dalhousie University and her Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice from the New England Conservatory of Music.
Alia articled and began practicing at a full-service law firm in Ontario where she specialized in municipal matters. While in law school, she summered with Legal Aid Ontario and their migrant justice program.
Before returning to private practice in 2017, Alia was the Director, Opera Division for Dean Artists Management and In-House Counsel for Dean Artists Management and Talent House, Inc., in Toronto, Canada.
Alia is a member of the Legal Aid Ontario Refugee and Domestic Violence panels. She is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association/Ontario Bar Association, Refugee Lawyers Association and the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers. She is an Alliance for Sustainable Legal Aid committee member, representing the Executive Board of the Refugee Lawyers Association. Alia is a certified Meditation Instructor and is an advocate for the mindful and collaborative practise of law. Alia welcomes collaborations with like-minded individuals and groups from all professional backgrounds.
